A NOT-SO-SHORT STORY

Good news, everyone!

After taking a long Parler-induced brake from most social media, I'm back. To be fair, I should have doubled down on updating the website during that time. Sorry about that. I have been keeping busy however, working on my F@nService Diner prequel book series.

After realizing that my first draft of the pilot novel just wasn't good enough to publish, I decided I needed to get better. I tried to learn from other authors who had already accomplished what I hoped to. I noticed a pattern. Those who had written short stories before writing their novel, were glad they had done so. Those who hadn't written short stories first, wished they had. When a bunch of successful people are all telling you the same thing, it's probably a good idea to listen.

And so I did, sort of.

I put the Pilot novel on hold and started writing a series of short stories detailing the origin of the main novel's villain. Unfortunately, the short stories didn't stay short. They've grown passed the length of what you could call short stories. Probably more accurate to call them novellas, but hey, they're still stories. Anyway, you can come back here for updates on the whole publishing process. Right now I’m waiting on feedback from my Alpha readers while I work on the second book in the series. Love you guys! Don’t know what I’d do without you. Take care of yourselves and God bless.
